Deployment options

One product, three places to run it

Features, the mobile app and the training library are the same everywhere. What changes is who runs the server, where data is stored and who maintains it.

  • For most fleets

    Cloud

We host it, you use it.

Teams that want to start quickly without managing infrastructure

  • Dedicated instance

Your own server and database, operated by us.

Organisations that need separated data but do not want to run servers

  • Self-hosted

You install it on your infrastructure; data stays with you.

Organisations with their own data centre or cloud account and an IT team

The same in every option

Your choice only changes the infrastructure.

  • The training library and videos come from us and stay up to date everywhere
  • One mobile app: drivers connect to their company’s server with a company code
  • Every panel feature, report and certificate
  • Privacy tools: privacy notice, retention periods, deletion and export
  • Priced by active drivers; the software licence and content subscription are separate items

Running it on your own server

The package consists of signed container images and a single configuration file.

Requirements

  • Linux server: at least 2 cores, 4 GB RAM, 20 GB disk
  • Docker Compose 2.23+ or Kubernetes (Helm chart)
  • Your own TLS reverse proxy and 3 domain names for the panel, API and sign-in
  • Outbound access to the platform console and to Cloudflare for video. Fully offline installs are not supported

Releases and updates

  • Every release is signed (cosign) and ships with a software bill of materials (SBOM)
  • You start updates: docker compose pull and up, or helm upgrade
  • Minor releases get 12 months of security updates, the yearly LTS release 24 months
  • Skip at most one minor release within a major version; LTS upgrades straight to the next LTS

Licence

  • The licence is verified offline; the system keeps working fully for 30 days without reaching the console
  • If the licence expires, no new assignments can be made and videos stop playing
  • Your data is never locked: reports, completion records and certificates stay readable and exportable
  • Source code escrow is available for enterprise customers

Frequently asked questions

Which one should I choose?

Cloud, unless you have a specific requirement. A dedicated instance if your data must sit in a separate database. Self-hosted if data must not leave your infrastructure and you have a team to run the server.

Can I switch later?

Yes. Switching is done by exporting your data and importing it into the new installation; assignments and completion records move with you.

If we self-host, can you see our data?

No. The installation only sends us aggregate information such as version, health, active learner count and minutes watched. No personal data or training results are sent; even video playback uses a pseudonymous ID we cannot resolve.

What happens if the console is unreachable?

Assignments, progress and reports keep working. Only new video playback cannot be authorised; videos already downloaded can still be watched on mobile.

Which option fits you?

Let’s talk about your fleet size and requirements.
